Job Summary
An internet payment solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Financial Technology Sales Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Educate merchants/partners on proper store set-up and products
- Prepare for and lead technical discussions with teams at all levels
- Perform business, product, and technical demonstrations to prospective merchants
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- 2-5 years of experience in a solutions or sales engineer role
- An understanding of scripting languages
- Understanding of APIs, web hooks, and general front end debugging experience
- Familiarity with web templating systems (Jinja2, Liquid)
- Able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
