Job Summary

A meal delivery service has an open position for a Telecommute Food Services Software Engineering Manager in Chicago.

Must be able to:

  • Take input from the Tech Leads on areas of improvement for their direct reports
  • Pair with software engineers to write code
  • Enable engineers to ship code to production efficiently

Qualifications Include:

  • More than passing familiarity with the tools and software our applications are built with, namely Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, etc
  • General high school degree, or equivalent
  • Ability to lead meetings about various technical topics or sprints
  • Ability to provide detailed, constructive feedback on pull requests in a timely fashion
