Job Summary

An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Fraud Specialist IIIa.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing claims history, medical reviews, provider files, etc
  • Utilizing data analysis techniques to detect irregularities, billing trends, and financial relationships
  • Identifying, investigating and evaluating complex potential fraud, waste or abuse

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Accounting, Criminology, Business or other related field
  • 3+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education
  • 2 years as an investigator OR Minimum of 5 years experience in fraud investigation or a related
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in fraud investigation/detection or a related field
  • Designated as a CFE or AHFI or other recognized certification in a related field
