A software company has an open position for a Telecommute Front End Developer in Brooklyn.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Designing and crafting software for a growing community of dreamers, writers, and creators
• Working with a team of distributed engineers in order to ship reliable code with minimal defects
• Recruiting, developing development principles, and improving development tools and process

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience working as a front end developer on agile teams
• Experience with Javascript, React/Redux, and with continuous integration and deployment
• Current with the state of the JavaScript and Flow ecosystem (ES6, Babel, NPM, Webpack, Rollup, etc.)
• Strong design focus with commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
• Basic knowledge of back end APIs and how they interface with front end components
