Job Summary

A provider of WordPress solutions needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Front End Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Developing extensible templates and themes for WordPress
  • Developing and reviewing software requirements and front-end architecture specifications
  • Debugging and troubleshooting code and cross-browser/device compatibility

Position Requirements Include:

  • Deep knowledge on creating semantic and accessible HTML
  • Advanced CSS skills
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors and writing modular styles
  • Experience with front-end build-tools like Gulp
  • Experience developing responsive interfaces and debugging for a wide range of current browsers and devices
  • Experience extending interfaces using Vanilla Javascript and libraries like jQuery
