Job Summary

A provider of software and billing services has a current position open for a Telecommute Front End Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies as needed
• Participating in the design and implementation of application features for large web applications
• Optimizing applications for speed and scalability

Qualifications Include:

• Travel up to 5% or more
• Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and building responsive web applications
• 3+ years of front-end development experience
• Experience writing SPAs with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Backbone, Knockout, Ember, etc.
• Experience with CSS pre-processors such as LESS/SASS/Stylus
• Understanding of code versioning practices/tools such as Git, Mercurial, SVN
• Experience creating/consuming REST APIs and with continuous integration tools and practices
