Job Summary

A software design company is seeking a Telecommute Full Stack Java Engineer in Herndon.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software
  • Working in a fast-paced, Agile environment consisting of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Mentoring more junior members of the team

Required Skills:

  • BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least five (5) years software engineering experience with Java technology
  • Expertise in object-relational mapping frameworks, such as Hibernate
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, and single-page application frameworks
  • Experience with automated unit/integration/functional testing
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
