Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Telecommute Gastrointestinal Medical Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Develop, review and revise protocols, forms and medical responsibility plans
• Participate in the definition of therapeutic targets
• Provide strategic medical and scientific input in operational development and trial management

Qualifications Include:

• Present medical/scientific analysis and plans at bid defense meetings
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic medicine or clinical medicine practice with involvement in clinical trials
• MD who has completed an accredited residency program or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience with substantial knowledge of drug development and extensive clinical research experience
• Ability to write clear, insightful medical reviews and protocol analyses
• Experience in the Gastrointestinal (GI) therapeutic area; Board certification
