A university is in need of a Telecommute General Communication Education Course Faculty Member.

Must be able to:

• Provide expertise in assigned content area and maintains current knowledge
• Foster student learning through innovative teaching practices
• Respond with urgency to changing requirements, priorities, and short deadlines

Required Skills:

• Available to travel to meetings as required
• Ability to work a student-friendly schedule
• A PhD in Communication Studies is required for this position
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing student support and instruction
• Demonstrated ability to work with at-risk learners
• Higher-education teaching experience required
