Job Summary
A provider of educational services is seeking a Telecommute General Education English Teacher in Atlanta.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading students through successful course completion
- Building a virtual environment conducive to learning
- Prioritizing student needs so that each child may reach their fullest potential
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel up to 10% of the time within and between assigned geographic areas to support students
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience teaching middle school
- Meets state’s No Child Left Behind’s (NCLB) Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Appropriate state certification for grades 6-8 and highly qualified teacher status in area of instruction.
- Understanding of applicable sections of the State Education Code and other pertinent regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as Internet research methods and report writing techniques
