Job Summary

A college-university has a current position open for a Telecommute General Education Faculty Member.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Engaging students as a proficient teacher
  • Proficiently using online technology and resources
  • Participating in other ways to strengthen the academic reputation of the university

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • May be required to travel to university events and residencies, throughout the year, at a minimum of once per quarter
  • Have a demonstrated record of high quality instruction, as shown by a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate teaching experience or an extensive record of relevant professional expertise
  • Have a minimum of an earned master's degree in the field of study or closely related field for faculty teaching undergraduate courses
  • Experience teaching first term courses or working with undergraduate first year experience
  • Have proven success with student success, retention, and intervention with at-risk students
  • Have experience with Learning Management Systems and leveraging technology in learning (required)
