An online education provider is seeking a Telecommute General Education High School English Teacher in Durham.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Taking ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance
- Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
- Conducting live synchronous teaching
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel to testing sites to proctor state exams and to other school-related functions
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 months of student teaching experience
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area
- Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
