Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Telecommute Genesys Engineer and Technical Leader in Hartford.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership
  • Enforce the vision of the application architecture and safeguard the integrity of the application environment
  • Work in alliance with architects and other tech leads

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Travel 10% of the time
  • Extensive experience in contact center operations, contact center technologies and contact center strategies
  • Understanding of business processes and digital transformation
  • At least six years of experience in IT systems analysis and application program development (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience)
  • Software design and development principals knowledge (Javascript,C#, VXML/SCXML)
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL and proficient in writing and executing Microsoft SQL Queries
  • Understanding of Web technology and application servers
  • Formal education in software engineering and/or telecommunications at a bachelor level or equivalent
