Job Summary

A genetic testing company is in need of a Telecommute Genetic Counselor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing genetic counseling (by telephone or video) to patients related to their test results
• Communicating with clients, sales representatives, and other team members to ensure an optimal provision of patient and client care
• Assisting with development of the Genetic Counseling Services program and broader educational efforts

Required Skills:

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an American Board of Genetic Counseling accredited training program
• American Board of Genetic Counseling certified
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Genetic Counselor licensure in multiple states requiring licensure
• Excellent knowledge base in genetics and patient care
• Experience in cancer, cardiovascular and/or reproductive health genetics is preferred
• Creative problem solvers that thrive in flexible, team-oriented environments
