Job Summary

A travel company has an open position for a Telecommute Government and Military Accounts Travel Consultant and Tampa.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Answering calls and emails promptly from clients regarding travel arrangements
  • Booking and issuing airline, hotel, car and other tour reservations
  • Maintaining sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay

Position Requirements Include:

  • High school diploma/GED; 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience
  • Working knowledge of a GDS System
  • Understanding of Government travel requirements, visas, passports
  • Understanding of contract fares, city fares and international routing
  • Knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software and SABRE, ARC, Worldspan, TRAMS database software
