Job Summary
A corporate travel management firm is in need of a Telecommute Government and Military Accounts Travel Consultant in Houston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering calls and emails promptly from clients who are requesting new travel arrangements or changes to existing itineraries and providing prompt customer service
- Booking and issuing airline, hotel, car and other tour reservations through our GDS system, accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Experience working with a high volume of phone calls and emails
- Proficiency with city, airline, hotel and car rental codes
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software and SABRE, ARC, TRAMS database software
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
