Job Summary
A non-profit healthcare organization has an open position for a Telecommute Government Healthcare Account Representative in Torrance.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing rejections and adjust claims electronically or hard copy as required
- Reviewing Medi-Cal remittance advice for accuracy prior to billing supplemental insurance
- Billing Medi-Cal claims via electronic software
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to attend in person training for the the first few weeks
- 2 years Acute Medi-Cal Hospital Collections experience
- 3 years successful experience in the health care field in a position demonstrating independent organizational and time management abilities
- 3 years working with and proficiency in use of systems, personal computer and Software
- Ability to ensure that all documentation entered in the system contain facts not feelings
- Ability to submit appropriate Appeals and CIFs when underpayment and overpayments are identified
