Job Summary

An education association is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Government Relations Legal Counsel and Vice President.

Must be able to:

  • Oversee all government relations activities for the organization
  • Offer general legal information to members and refers them to counsel as necessary
  • Direct the legal and government relations team in analysis and outreach to the industry

Required Skills:

  • Travel up to 25% is required
  • Must be eligible to become a member of the DC bar
  • Legal degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 8 years' experience working in a law firm
  • Experience managing and coaching other attorneys or legal support staff
