Job Summary

An online education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Grades K Through 12 Special Education Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Taking ownership for student’s academic progress and attendance
  • Conducting live synchronous teaching
  • Participating on IEP and pre-referral teams for special needs students

Required Skills:

  • Ability to travel as required (approximately 10% of the time)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ months of student teaching experience
  • Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
