Job Summary
A banking and asset management company has an open position for a Telecommute Head of Tax.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing global tax teams in locations across the US, UK, and India
- Overseeing the preparation of all jurisdictional income tax provisions including ensuring accurate and timely ASC 740 tax accounting and financial reporting disclosures
- Overseeing tax audit and tax controversy on behalf of the Company, including preventing, managing and resolving tax controversy issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- At least 15+ years of senior leadership experience in global tax at a major financial institution
- Proven strong strategic and execution skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and work across the CAO/CFO, HR, and Legal organizations and interface with external auditors and regulators
- Experience leading global tax accounting for a Large Financial Institution
- Extensive experience with ASC 740 and income tax provision calculations, income tax return preparation, tax research and analysis, and overall tax compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CPA
