Job Summary

A healthcare organization has an open position for a Telecommute Health Information Management Coder Analyst III.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coding more complex and difficult inpatient medical records
• Identifying and abstracting specified information from the patient's medical records
• Performing extended length of stay coding for interim cycle billing

Qualifications for this position include:

• On-site evaluation prior to hire
• RHIA, RHIT or CCS with two (2) year minimum current full-time experience
• ICD-10-CM/PCS training completed
• Technically competent and fluent knowledge in the navigation of electronic medical record applications
• Must provide current AHIMA continuing education certification records
