Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Health Information Management Senior Associate.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing health care claims based on billing practices and coding and documentation guidelines
- Collaborating with analytic and clinical staff in the development of specialized lexicons
- Assisting with the establishment of rules for data quality/quality scoring
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- RHIA-Registered Health Information Administrator certification
- Coding Certification from a Nationally recognized organization for I-9 and I-10
- 5 or more years of experience with health services coding and billing services as a certified coder
- 5 or more years of experience educating others on coding & documentation and billing practices
