Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Healthcare Actuarial Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Participate directly and oversees contract modeling design and negotiation support
• Design and oversee reporting and analytics supporting fee for service contracting metrics
• Build and maintain positive relationships with designated markets

Qualifications Include:

• Actuarial designation, ASA or FSA or in process of taking exams
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of healthcare experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare finance, managed care and insurer contracting
• Technical excellence and deep experience in payer claim and quality data
• Significant experience in managed care contract terminology and reimbursement negotiations
