A healthcare diagnostic imaging company is seeking a Telecommute Healthcare Benefits Specialist in Colorado Springs.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Verifying patient eligibility and benefits
- Applying critical thinking skills to investigate patient information discrepancies and resolve problems
- Prioritizing patients as outlined in department workflow policy
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1+ years experience in insurance verification and benefits – healthcare preferred
- Proficient speed and accuracy with data entry
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
