Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Healthcare Coding Compliance Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading efforts to implement updates to our algorithms as appropriate
  • Managing all CMS HCC, ICD, CPT, HCPCS and HEDIS coding requirements/changes as they are released
  • Working with the Quality team on various assessments and reporting required for NCQA, Client-specific, and other regulatory purposes

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care or business related or
  • Extensive coding experience
  • 5 years’ experience in healthcare
  • Certification or equivalent experience in Coding (AAPC or CPC), Medical Risk Adjustment, and HEDIS
  • Medicare Stars knowledge
  • Ability to develop educational materials to effectively communicate and educate internal users on HEDIS specifications
