Job Summary

A healthcare and retail pharmacy company is seeking a Telecommute Healthcare Customer Service Representative in Fresno.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Handling provider customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet or written correspondence
  • Answering questions and resolves issues based on phone calls/letters from providers
  • Triaging resulting rework to appropriate staff

Position Requirements Include:

  • 1-2 years Customer Service experiences in a transaction based environment, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to document and tracks contacts with members, providers and plan sponsors
  • Ability to explain member’s benefits, rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract to our providers
  • Ability to educate providers on our self-service options
  • Ability to assist providers with credentialing and re-credentialing issues
