Job Summary
A healthcare and retail pharmacy company is seeking a Telecommute Healthcare Customer Service Representative in Fresno.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Handling provider customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet or written correspondence
- Answering questions and resolves issues based on phone calls/letters from providers
- Triaging resulting rework to appropriate staff
Position Requirements Include:
- 1-2 years Customer Service experiences in a transaction based environment, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to document and tracks contacts with members, providers and plan sponsors
- Ability to explain member’s benefits, rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract to our providers
- Ability to educate providers on our self-service options
- Ability to assist providers with credentialing and re-credentialing issues
