A health insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Healthcare Economics Associate Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Serving as subject matter expert in designing and completing retrospective statistical methods to evaluate program effectiveness
- Understanding and interpreting key drivers of health care trends, clinical program performance, and potential opportunities
- Ensuring program evaluation is completed using accurate, current, and approved methods
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors’ degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Health Administration, Mathematics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in health care analytics
- 5+ years of experience programming in SAS or SQL
- 5+ years of experience using statistical methods in data science modeling or in statistical studies
