Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Healthcare Economics Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze network affordability initiatives
  • Deliver actionable data to internal and external partners
  • Interpret and analyze claims, capitation, membership data, and recommend best approaches

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Actuarial Math, Statistics, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing SQL, SAS or other statistical program to work with data
  • Experience working with medical claims data
  • Experience with data sets and linking them together from different sources
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency working with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
