Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Healthcare Economics Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Directing and managing a team of outcomes researchers and data analysts
• Developing and applying statistical methods to evaluate clinical and economic program performance
• Identifying and deploying appropriate analytic techniques

Qualifications Include:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Health Services Research, Biostatistics or similar
• High level of proficiency with evaluation methods and statistical techniques
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics and working with large medical claims data sets
• 2+ years of management experience with progressive levels of accountability
• Advanced proficiency with SAS programming
• Verbal and written communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
