Job Summary
A global company providing healthcare, life insurance, accident insurance, and Medicaid and Medicare service is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Healthcare Employment Law Counsel.
Must be able to:
- Conduct legal research to ensure our employment policies are consistent with best practices
- Participate in and help facilitate internal training sessions
- Forge strong relationships with internal clients and external counsel
Skills and Requirements Include:
- J.D. degree and active Bar membership
- Minimum of 5 years of employment law experience at a top firm and/or in-house
- Ability to distill and present complex legal issues to non-lawyers
- Subject Matter Expertise on FMLA, ADA, and state/local Paid Sick Time requirements
- Demonstrated good and practical judgment
