Job Summary

A developer of speech recognition applications is filling a position for a Telecommute Healthcare Industry Education Lead Auditor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze audit trends to determine education needs
  • Conduct or coordinate education sessions
  • Create and maintain a library of educational material

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • AHIMA or AAPC Coding credential (CCS, CCS-P, CIC, COC, CPMA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HIM or related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience in HIM field with a concentration on coding and auditing
  • Prior experience in development of audit-driven educational programs
  • Broad-based audit experience with inpatient and outpatient hospital
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
