Job Summary
A healthcare business and operations provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Healthcare Insurance Follow Up Collector in Asheville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work insurance pools and contact insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid promptly
- Identify problem accounts and escalate as appropriate
- Document in the patient account record to identify actions taken on the account
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school education or GED
- Minimum one year related experience
- Ability to work with patients and guarantors to resolve payer requests and discrepancies to promptly resolve pending claims
- Ability to document in the patient account record to identify actions taken on the account
- Ability to identify problem accounts and escalate as appropriate
- Ability to work insurance pools and contact insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid promptly
