Job Summary
A healthcare business and operations provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Healthcare Insurance Verification Representative in Kansas City.
Must be able to:
- Assign Insurance Plans accurately
- Follow scripted benefits verification and pre-certification format and record responses
- Perform pre-registration and insurance verification prior to date of service
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Comfortable working remotely
- Able to perform electronic insurance eligibility confirmation when applicable
- Able to complete Medicare Secondary Payor Questionnaire as applicable
- Ability to calculate patient cost share
- Must be prepared to collect via phone or make payment arrangements
