A healthcare organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Healthcare Managing Editor in Rochester.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Supporting the Health Information team
• Working with the team, patient education and enterprise-wide medical experts
• Researching and reviewing source materials

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field
• Must have at least five years of publishing experience and demonstrated leadership abilities
• Proven track record for managing strong editorial content for a variety of traditional or new media and digital formats
• Must possess knowledge of or experience with search engine optimization strategies and tactics
• Expertise or experience with semantic Web technologies, meta data frameworks and taxonomies
• Background in health or science related information or subject matter expertise in health
