Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Healthcare Medical Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working a caseload of accounts
- Reviewing and editing charges, and medical records
- Providing pertinent feedback on reviews
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of HMOS, PPOs and other Managed Care Plans
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist or AAPC Coder Certification
- Two years of experience as a medical coder in a hospital setting
- High School graduate or equivalent
