Job Summary
A recruiting firm has an open position for a Telecommute High Performance Computing HPC Engineer in Chicago.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assisting developers in adapting code for use in a cluster environment
- Monitoring and troubleshooting cluster performance issues
- Designing, deploying and supporting cutting edge High-Performance compute and storage resources
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages
- 5+ years' experience in Linux Administration/Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university or comparable work experience
- Experience performance tuning Linux operating systems
- Experience administering HPC scheduling systems
- Experience managing storage systems
