Job Summary
An educational provider is in need of a Telecommute High School English General Ed Teacher in Atlanta.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading students through successful course completion
- Building a virtual environment conducive to learning
- Prioritizing student needs so that each child may reach their fullest potential
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel up to 10% of the time within and between assigned geographic areas to support students
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience teaching middle school
- Meet state’s No Child Left Behind’s (NCLB) Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Appropriate state certification for grades 6-8 and highly qualified teacher status in area of instruction
- Understanding of applicable sections of the State Education Code and other pertinent regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, Internet research methods and report writing techniques
