Job Summary
An online school is seeking a Telecommute High School General Education Elective Teacher.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading students through successful course completion
- Prioritizing student needs so that each child may reach their fullest potential
- Promoting creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas
- Ability to participate in a new teacher training program for 3 weeks before the start of school
- Bachelor’s degree and appropriate State certification
- Minimum six (6) months teaching experience
- Ability to meet state’s NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
