Job Summary
An online education company is in need of a Telecommute High School Science Teacher.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Leading students through successful course completion
- Partnering with parents and colleagues to manage course goals and curriculum
- Creating strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas
- Participating in a comprehensive new teacher training program for three weeks before the start of school
- Bachelor’s degree
- Having appropriate State certification and meets the state’s NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Experience working with the proposed age group
- Minimum six months teaching experience
