Job Summary
An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute High School Social Studies Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Completing all grading, creating progress reports and conducting parent conferences
- Supporting the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions
- Reviewing curriculum and devising alternate approaches
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Historical Perspectives in Indiana
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS, MS Office programs, and Google Suite)
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Teaching Certificate
- Team player track record
