Telecommute High School Special Education Math Teacher

Job Summary

A provider of educational services is filling a position for a Telecommute High School Special Education Math Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Lead students through successful course completion
• Build a virtual environment conducive to learning
• Prioritize student needs so that each child may reach their fullest potential

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years teaching experience
• Appropriate State certification: Oklahoma Special Education and Math Grades 7-12
• Meets state’s NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
• Experience working with the proposed age group and supporting adults and children in the use of technology
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook and able to learn new technology tools quickly
