A non-profit, multi-specialty, academic medical center is seeking a Telecommute HIM Coder II in Cleveland.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Abstracting clinical information
- Clarifying complex discrepancies in documentation and coding
- Meeting or exceeds productivity and quality standards
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years experience required
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS is required and must be maintained
- Requires critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
