Job Summary
A company that provides coding services is in need of a Telecommute HIM Coding Review Manager Coder Trainer Auditor in the San Diego Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating, monitoring and auditing all lines of hospital business for coding
- Monitoring the accuracy and quality of coding assignments
- Developing reports of audit results to Regional and facility staff and Senior Management
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel regularly between medical center facilities
- Minimum of 4+ years of Acute Care: Inpatient, Outpatient, MS-DRG, HCC and APC coding
- 4+ years supervisory experience in a Medical Records department
- Working knowledge of State/Federal, CMRI, NCQA, JCAHO, and CMS Regulations
- Ability to prepare statistical and or annual coding accuracy reports as requested
- Ability to develop and provide high quality in-service and seminars of coding
