Telecommute HIM Medical Coder II

A Catholic, not-for-profit healthcare system is seeking a Telecommute HIM Medical Coder II.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Use ICD-10 codes to assign codes for all diagnoses for each inpatient encounter
• Follow-up resolution of patient accounts
• Query physicians for clarification of conflicting and/or ambiguous diagnosis

Qualifications Include:

• CCS or graduate from RHIT or RHIA
• 2 years coding experience in hospital acute care coding environment
• Familiar with using ICD-10 coding manual
