Job Summary
A staffing agency has an open position for a Telecommute HIM Medical Records Coder II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing evaluation and review of medical record documentation
- Accurately assigning codes for the primary/secondary diagnoses and procedures
- Sequencing the diagnoses and procedures using coding guidelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school diploma
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Ability to maintain competency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4 and HCPCS Level II
