Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommute HIM Subject Matter Expert.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Achieving desired documentation outcomes at the facility level
- Providing essential and effective communication with physicians and ancillary clinical providers
- Ensuring accurate classification of the severity of illness and risk of mortality level of the patient is achieved
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High level of clinical and coding guideline knowledge
- Must have proven ability to utilize clinical knowledge to interpret physician documentation and clinical indicators
- 4 years of clinical nursing experience
- 2 years Clinical Documentation Integrity
- 3 years Inpatient clinical patient care experience
- Passionate about the health information profession
