A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Home Health Care Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Documenting requests for authorization for home health
- Understanding and applying CMS Chapter 7 guidelines for home health
- Following up with providers as necessary for clarification
Qualifications for this position include:
- Active, unrestricted registered clinical license
- 1 year of experience in geriatric care management in a home health setting
- 2+ years of recent experience in case management or utilization management role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable of ICD-10 coding
- Proficient in medical terminology
