Job Summary

A non-profit healthcare organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Home Health Clerical Referral Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Assist the Clinical Referral Specialist and Home Health Administrator in ensuring the effective communication
  • Assist in managing the inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Assist with scheduling start of care visits with patients and families, per business needs

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of two years experience working in a health care environment
  • Experience with office machines and a working knowledge of phone and filing systems
  • Ability to professionally handle confidential information, comply with HIPPA regulations and maintain workflow systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues, conflict with or among others
  • Ability to deal with a challenging work environment from time demands and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal English skills
