Job Summary
A window and door manufacturing company has an open position for a Telecommute Home Improvement Business Development Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assuming account ownership and working cross functionally to provide a second to none experience to the trade
- Prospecting in respective markets, utilizing product and segment knowledge, to promote company's Program to appeal to and to convert the leaders in the home improvement industry
- Conducting field visits to better understand the unique nuances of our customers, facilitating in-home sales training, and providing internal feedback to improve the quality and results of the program
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel by conducting field visits and facilitating in-home sales training
- 4-year degree or equivalent field experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships with trade customers, channel partners and peers
- Demonstrated strong written, verbal, analytical and fact-based planning skills. Disciplined and effective use of CRM
- Ability to provide remote product, installation and sales training
- Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external teams to form a thorough understanding of individual markets and the reputations and opportunities within those markets
