Job Summary
A major financial and banking institution is in need of a Telecommute Home Mortgage Retail Underwriting Senior Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Underwriting complete product offerings
- Underwriting pre-underwritten conventional first mortgages prepared by a Junior Underwriter
- Serving as an advisor for junior members of the department
Qualifications for this position include:
- Direct Endorsement Certification required
- 5+ years underwriting conventional and government loans
- Experience using Automated Underwriting Systems
- Experienced as Delegated Underwriter with all approved MI companies
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex income documentation
- Self-directed with excellent time management skills
